The Celtic Manor Wales Open 2008 - Step Out in Style at Ladies Day
COLE AND DU BEKE SET TO SWEEP LADIES OFF THEIR FEET AT CELTIC MANOR WALES OPEN
Strictly Come Dancing Stars Step Out in Style at Ladies Day
Strictly Come Dancing stars Brendan Cole and Anton Du Beke will step out in style when they appear among the celebrity guests at Ladies Day during The Celtic Manor Wales Open.
The dancing heartthrobs will swap the ballroom for the fairways as they prepare to sweep the ladies off their feet at the glamorous occasion on Saturday May 31.
Ladies Day has become one of the hottest dates in the sporting social calendar since it was introduced to golf by The Celtic Manor Resort in 2004. Celebrities attending in previous years have included soap stars Jason Donovan, Michelle Collins and Gary Lucy, and models Caprice and Lisa Butcher.
Cole and Du Beke attend as guests of the golf tournament’s official charity Cancer Research UK after becoming stars in their own right while partnering celebrity female novices like Kelly Brook and Patsy Palmer in the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
Other celebrities rumoured to be attending include GMTV favourite Ben Shepherd, Eastenders actress Brooke Kinsella and model Emma B.
Ladies and their guests are invited to dress glamorously and enjoy champagne hospitality and fine cuisine while rubbing shoulders with the celebrity guests at Ladies Day, presented in association with ghd spa and Payot.
Dylan Matthews, Tournament Director of The Celtic Manor Wales Open, said: “We always strive to create more than just a golf tournament and Ladies Day is the most eye-catching example of the different attractions we put on to keep the whole family entertained at The Celtic Manor Wales Open.
“Everybody connected with the tournament looks forward to the splash of glamour it adds to proceedings and I’m sure it will prove another highly popular day out during this year’s event.”
